Esther K. "Betty" Sundstrom

Esther K. (Betty) Sundstrom, age 80, of Englewood, Florida, passed away on August 8, 2014. Betty was born in New York City on March 4, 1934 to Sixten and Martha Kindstrand. She was married to Donald Sundstrom on September 27, 1952. They adopted two children and she is survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death in 1984. Betty moved to Venice in 1990 from Vienna, Virginia and in 1992 she met her significant other, Lee Bergin who survives her. She was a member of the Venice-Nokomis United Methodist Church and sang in the choir. In fact singing was the joy of her life. A memorial service will be held at the church on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Venice-Nokomis United Methodist Church Music Dept. or to Tidewell Hospice, Inc. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
