Frederick John Chillington
January 25th, 1914 - July 6th, 2014
Fred J. Chillington, age 100, of Venice, FL, formerly of North Port, died on July 6, 2014. He was born in Darien, CT on January 25, 1914 and came to this area in 1976 from Stamford, CT. Fred was a home builder in Stamford for 33 years before retiring in 1972. He is survived by his son, Fred; grandchildren, Brian, James, Paula, and Leanne; great grandchildren Andrew, Brian Jr, Carly, Ethan, James Jr, Julia, Madison, Melissa, Piper, Ryan, Shane, and Tori; and great great granddaughter Allissa. Fred was preceded in death by his grandson, Scott, first wife, Alberta, and second wife Louise. A memorial service will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Venice on Monday July, 14 at 10 am.
