Henry Joseph Lombard, age 84, died peacefully in his sleep in Venice, FL. Henry was born in Escanaba, MI. He lived in New York, Paris, Pittsburgh, and Florida, and loved to travel. He had a long career with IBM as an engineer and an economic forecaster. Henry was an avid fly-fisherman and hunter. He loved skiing, curling, and painting. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Byrne Lombard. He is survived by his wife Marianne Herdani Lombard; brother James Lombard of Ann Arbor, MI; daughter Frances Lombard Donahue (Thomas) of Pittsburgh, PA; and son Henry Garrett Lombard (Heidi) of Hopkinton, MA; ten grandchildren Henry Lombard, Connor Lombard, Thomas Donahue, Jacqueline Donahue, Richard Donahue (Erin), Kathleen Wallach (Richard), Christine Sickler (Michael), Peter Donahue, Rebecca Donahue, Amy Donahue; two great-grandchildren John Sickler and Andrew Wallach; and step-daughter Elaine Herdani and her daughter Karina. A celebration of his life will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, June 30th at the First Unitarian Church, 605 Morewood Ave, Pittsburgh, PA and a memorial service in Venice will be scheduled in the Fall.
