James E. Zensen, Sr., age 92, formerly of Dayton, Tennessee, passed away on June 22, 2014 in North Port, Florida. He was born on May 17, 1922 in Newark, New Jersey. James was a veteran of the Army during World War II and served in the Indo-China campaign and was an active member of the American Legion. He is survived by his three children, Sanford Zensen of Dayton, Tennessee, Judith Ann Zensen of The Villages, Florida and James E. Zensen, II of North Port, Florida. James also leaves behind eight loving grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Farley Funeral Home in North Port on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 10:00AM. A graveside with military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Farley Funeral Home in North Port is handling the arrangements.
