Cornelia Ann Wilson, age 88, of Venice, Florida, passed away on May 11, 2014. She was born on July 5, 1925 in Lawton Village, Michigan. She was a campground cook for many years and then moved to Florida in 1984. She was also a member of Grace Church in Sarasota. Cornelia is survived by her four children; Mary Klinge of Sarasota, Kurk Wilson of Morristown, TN, Melissa Flora of Middleville, MI, Tom Wilson of Dowling, MI; two sisters, Mary Larson of Pecatonica, IL, Elizabeth Glynn of Grove City, Pennsylvania and two brothers, George W. Lawton of Three Rivers, MI and Jon Lawton of Bucksport, ME. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Powell Wilson, who she was married to for 32 years and a daughter, Gene Gibson. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the Grace Church, 8000 Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota. Burial will be held later in Freemont Cemetery in Freemont, Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Grace Church, 8000 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, Florida 34241 or TideWell Hospice, Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd, Sarasota, Florida 34238.
