Nadine Stulgis

Nadine Adair Stulgis, age 84, of Nokomis, died on April 6, 2014. She was born in Lorain, OH on October 18, 1929, and came to Nokomis in 1948. Nadine was the bookkeeper for Best Way Sales, their family television sales and service business in Nokomis. Nadine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a charter member of Lakeside Lutheran Church in Venice. She was an avid outdoors woman, a member of her high school archery and rifle teams, a scout den mother, and very active in Sarasota K9 Search and Rescue. Surviving family members include her husband William ""Bill"" Stulgis of Nokomis; daughter Cynthia O'Neill (Randy), of Nokomis; son Mark Stulgis of Venice; sister Elaine Gfell of Norwalk, OH; grandson Chris Perz (Christy) of Nokomis; granddaughters Angela Paret (Keith) of Myakka City, and Carly Hilton (Nigel) of Venice, and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Lakeside Lutheran Church in Venice on Wednesday, April 23rd at 6 PM. Memorial donations may be made to Lakeside Lutheran Preschool, 2401 S Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34293.
