Jean L. Miller of Osprey, FL passed away April 3, 2014. Jean was born April 6, 1926 in Wales to Edna (Lane) and David Lougher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Colonel, Army Retired Thomas Edward Miller. Survivors include her daughter Linda and her husband, Henry Pope pf Venice, FL and William Miller and his wife Carla of Indialantic, FL, grandchildren, Christopher Pope of Ft. Myers and Kelly Pope of Venice, FL. Jean's passion was her family and her dogs. She loved the ocean, knitting, sewing, quilting, and reading. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Family will receive friends at 9:45 AM, Friday, April 11, 2014 with a Celebration of Life Service at Farley Funeral Home in Venice, immediately following at 10:00 AM. Graveside Service will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery at 11:30AM.
