Louis Magyar, 88, of Venice, FL, formerly of St. Louis, MO, died on January 19, 2014. Louis was a veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII. He loved gardening tomatoes and peppers, and attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Venice. Survivors include his daughter, Susan Riegel, (Richard) of Kansas City, MO; son Louis Magyar, (Momilani) of Nokomis, FL; daughter Clare Holder, (Wallace) of Columbus, GA; son Michael Magyar, (Keiko) of East Sandwich, MA; and daughter Mary Stauder, (Thomas) of St. Louis, MO; brother John Magyar of NC; grandchildren Kevin, Richard, Erica, Kaleleonalani, Louis, Christopher, Christina, Kathleen, Jessica, Taiki, Thomas; great grandchildren Zackery, Ryan, Ashley, Alexis, Korina, Teagan, Travis, Brooke, and Riley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita, brother, Michael, and great grandchild, Hayden. Visitation will be on Monday, January 27th at Our Lady of Lourdes Church from 10 - 11 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow. In lieu of flowers send donations to Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
