Gary David Kieselhorst, 68, of Danville, PA, passed away on January 4, 2014. He was born on July 18, 1945 in Minneapolis, MN to David and Edna Kieselhorst. He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam and retired from Geisinger Health System. Gary was also a Deacon at Grove Presbyterian Church. He loved his children and grandchildren, Penn State football, and spending time in Florida. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Kessey Stayer Kieselhorst, of Danville, PA; daughter Shelly (Wayne) Weckler of Cheyenne, WY; son David (Kim) Kieselhorst of Dayton, OH; daughter Patricia (Christopher) Cupitt of Reading, PA; stepson Benjamin Cummings of Carbondale, CO; seven grandchildren, Jeanette and Justin Weckler, Emma and Max Kieselhorst, and Joshua, Chase, and Alexa Cupitt; brother Dale Kieselhorst of Woodbury, MN; and a sister, Kathryn Hoffman of Cushing, WI. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th at Grove Presbyterian Church from 10-11:30AM with a Memorial Service beginning at 11:30AM. Memorial donations may be made to Team Alexa, Inc., P.O. Box 4384, Reading, PA 19606, www.teamalexa.org, a fund to assist children with heart disease.
