Thomas J. Infante, age 71 of North Port, FL passed away December 19, 2013. He was born in Greenwich, CT September 22, 1942 to the late Michael C and Josephine (Musca) Infante. He served in the Army Reserve National Guard from 1961 to 1965. He worked in construction and excavation and also built several custom homes under his company East Coast Construction in CT. He was also a retired member of the International Union of Operating Engineers local 478. After moving to Florida, he worked off and on as a heavy equipment operator and also for Gator Water in North Port. He is survived by his wife of seven years Sandra L (Voelker) and his three children; Thomas (Lisa) Infante of Shelton, CT; Leigh (Gerald) Kutz of Darien, CT; and Richard (Theresa) Infante of Monroe, CT; 11 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters and also his twin brother Michael N. Infante; several nieces and nephews as well as many friends. A memorial service will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society - Please call 1-800-227-2345.
