Clair W. Stark, III, 77, of North Port, FL, passed away on October 30, 2013, from cancer. Born on September 20, 2936 in Olean, NY, he was the son of Clair W. Stark, Jr. and Genevieve (Appleby) Stark. On July 20, 1957, he married Janice Brinson of Kokomo. They were married over 28 years. Clair then married Emily Jayne Stark. Clair served in the United States Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Army Reserve and worked at Delco in Kokomo for 30 years. He and Janice had three daughters: Lora Burke Mulkey (Ken); Leah B. Vandergriff; and Maria D. Lawrence (Jay), all of Kokomo. Five grandchildren: Emily R. Burke; Amanda M. (Vandergriff) Plake; Travis R. Vandergriff, Adelaide J. (McKinney) Halupa; and Amelia C. Lawrence; and four great-grandchildren: Allyson K. Vandergriff; Alivia R. Plake; Ethan S.A. Vandergriff; and Clayton R. Vandergriff. Services and burial will be private at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida. Farley Funeral Home in North Port is handling the arrangements.
