Margaret Carter Neff, 98, passed away Monday, September 30th in Port Charlotte, FL. She lived in Venice, FL for 33 years, and Glen Ellyn, IL before that. Mrs. Neff was a mother and homemaker before becoming a telephone operator. In retirement she enjoyed exercise at the YMCA, gardening, friends and family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale D. Neff and son, Michael Carter Neff. Mrs. Neff is survived by two sons, Jeremy George Neff of Eau Claire, WI and Bruce Gordon Neff of Key West, FL; four grandchildren, Miriam, Kevin, Darren, and Anneliese; and seven great grandchildren, James, Dixie, Zeke, Lily, Chance, Shula, and Lilit. There are no services planned at this time.
