Kelly was born January 21, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA at 1 邽 lbs. to Mary Anna (Wunder) and Albert C. Kelly. He grew up in Philadelphia and later moved to New Jersey and raised his family. He was a painting contractor in both residential and commercial painting for over 60+ years. His career path was passed down from generation to generation for 200+ years. He moved to Venice 36 years ago and since he has been busy with such organizations as the Lions Club, Moose Lodge and the Venice Little Theater. Kelly is survived by all 5 of his children including his daughters: Nancy Kelly of Oakridge, OR, Patty Kelly of La Mesa, CA, Kathy Sullivan of Mesa, AZ, Susan Kelly of Chula Vista, CA; son, Albert Kelly III of Mesa, AZ; as well as sister, Barbara Bakley of Cape May, NJ and brother, Robert Kelly of Charleston, SC; 4 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 PM, Friday, May 10, 2013 at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel.
