She was born on October 3, 1923 in Utica, New York. She was a manager in the garment industry. Beatrice enjoyed many hobbies which included playing cards, crafts and reading. She was a good bowler and golfer. She was a loving and caring person to everyone she came in contact with. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert C. Grasso in 1986 after 40 years of marriage. She is survived by her daughters, Toni (Richard) Rizzuto of Venice, Patricia (Vincent) LaPaglia of New Hartford, New York; a son, Albert C. (Joanne) Grasso of Fresno, California; a brother, Dominic Romano of Montrose, California and a sister, Elvira Coulson of The Villages, Florida. She was proud of her four grandsons; Vincent (Dawne) LaPaglia of Parker, CO, James (Christine) LaPaglia of Virginia Beach, VA, Richard (Michelle) Rizzuto of Bradenton, FL and Paul (Amy) Rizzuto of Hartford, NY. Her six great-grandchildren, Matthew & Samantha LaPaglia of Parker, CO, Ethan & Brady Rizzuto of Bradenton, FL and Tyler & Dylan Rizzuto of New Hartford, NY were the loves of her life. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Farley Funeral Home in Venice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Venice. Burial will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ft. Pierce, Florida on Friday, April 5, 2013. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
