Bette A. Baldensperger, 89, of Venice, FL, died on February 27, 2012. She was born in Chicago, IL on August 29, 1922 to John Oscar and Elizabeth Anderson. She graduated from Hirsh High School and Michael Reese Nursing School. She married Elmer Baldensperger in August 1944 in Chicago, IL. Bette moved to Warren, PA and worked as a nurse at Warren General Hospital, where she helped start the cardiac unit. She retired to Nokomis, FL in 1982 and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Venice, FL where she enjoyed the activities and fellowship for many years. Survivors include her daughter, Kandee MacQueen of Port Charlotte, FL; brother, Ronald W. (Betty) Anderson of Laurel, MD; granddaughter Kate Ramtahal of Fort Myers, FL; grandson Corey MacQueen of Warren, PA; one great grandson, Jaharious Ramtahal of Fort Myers, FL; and nieces and nephews.
