Meredith L. Jenkins, 93, of Venice, FL, formerly of Fairmount, IL, died on November 11, 2011. Survivors include her daughter Karen J. (Ed) Okeson of Venice, FL; two grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and three step great grandchildren. Meredith was predeceased by her husband, Harold, and by her son, Harold, Jr. A gathering will take place on Wednesday, November 16th from 2-3PM at Farley Funeral Home Venice Chapel with a funeral service beginning at 3PM. Burial will follow at a later date at Venice Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to TideWell Hospice, Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
