Farley Funeral Homes and Crematory - Venice
Margaret Rehler Warren
October 16th, 1916 - August 5th, 2011
Margaret Rehler Warren passed away peacefully at her daughter and son-in-law’s home in North Port, FL on August 5, 2011. She was born Margaret Rose Rehler, daughter of Kittie and Alfred Rehler in Allegany, NY on Oct. 16, 1916. She graduated from high school at the age of 16 and attended business school. She was a secretary for many years, the last twenty at the First Baptist Church in Olean, NY, where she maintained membership. She married J. Howard Warren in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and they enjoyed nearly fifty years of marriage until his death in 1988. They had spent their retirement years traveling between their two homes in Allegany, NY and Ozona, FL as well as visiting their children’s’ families in various states, Germany and Korea. When it became too much to maintain the two homes, Mom moved to North Port to be nearer her daughter and had spent the last several years in the area. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth as an infant and Donald, at age nine. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Margaret (Mardie) and Perry Butler of North Port, their four children and their spouses and her son John H. Warren, his wife Joanie, and their son Ryan of St. Croix in the U. S, Virgin Islands. Mom also had numerous great grandchildren and a great, great grandson all of whom she loved dearly. The family wishes to thank the Tidewell Hospice team for their love and support over the last few months. There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude to them.
