Patty Marlene Dimock (Griffith), 76, of Venice, FL passed away suddenly on May 27, 2011. Patty was the loving and devoted wife of Donald (Bud) Fuller Dimock and the mother of Susan, Cynthia, Sandra and Donald Matthew. Patty was the 6th child of the 10 born to James Kenneth “J.K.” and Bremen Wood Griffith of Alum Creek, WV. Patty graduated from Washington District High School and briefly trained for her commercial pilot’s license. It was during this time that she met and married her husband Donald. Patty is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Cynthia; sister, Faye; brother, Douglas; sister, Betty; and brother James (Kenny). She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald; daughter Susan and husband Drew, of New Bedford, MA; daughter, Sandra of San Dimas, CA; son and his wife, Matthew and Kathleen Dimock of Canton, MA; grandchildren Michael Tippins, Sarah Schlaegel, Thomas Dimock, and Abigail Dimock; 4 sisters, Jewell Haddad of Charleston, WV, Phyllis Griffith of Alum Creek, WV, Jeanette Rieck of Newtown Square, PA, and Carley Jo Means of Severna Park, MD; and her brother Jack Griffith of Denton, TX.
