Robert Paul Greco, age 86, of Venice, FL died on February 15, 2011. He was born in Cranford, NJ on October 11, 1924. He was the owner/operator of Greco’s Garage in Cranford until he retired and moved to Venice permanently 10 years ago. Mr. Greco served in the US Navy during WWII and was an Officer in the American Legion and Past Commander and Life Member of VFW Post 335 in Cranford. Robert also served as Past President of the Union County Gasoline Retailers. He was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed painting in oils and watercolors. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of Venice; daughter Barbara L. Wenz (John) of North Port; son Paul (Denise) of North Port; beloved sister in law Gloria Cotroneo; 7 grandchildren and 10 � great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Nicole Greco in 2010.
