Frank L. Oddo
June 24th, 1920 - February 10th, 2011
Frank L. Oddo, 90, of Venice, FL, formerly of East Rutherford, NJ passed away February 10, 2011. Mr. Oddo was born June 24, 1920 to Lucia Dicarlo Oddo and Vincenzo Oddo. Frank was the Head of Maintenance for the East Rutherford Board of Education and Becton Regional High School until his retirement in 1985. He served his country in WW II during the liberation of France as a Sergeant in the US Army, Company A Signal Corps. Frank was also a State Champion wrestler for Lodi, New Jersey High School, and he was a cross-country runner and an avid member of the camera club. At the time of his death, Frank was living in Venice at the home of his son, Frank W. and Anne Oddo. Preceded by his loving wife Rose C. Pascale Oddo and 8 brothers and sisters, he leaves his sons Frank W. of Venice, Lewis of Wallington, NJ, and Robert of East Rutherford, NJ. grandchildren Dana Oddo Dodge of Venice, Renee Oddo Baker of Punta Gorda, Andrea Oddo Todd of Venice, Breanne Oddo of Tampa, Sandra, Frank Lewis, and Jeannie Oddo of Wallington, NJ, Robert, Jennifer, and Alexandra Oddo of East Rutherford, NJ, 8 great grandchildren, and too many nieces and nephews to list. He also leaves his longtime companion Maxine Eaton of Venice. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Venice Memorial Gardens.
