Arlene A. LaMothe, 72, of North Port, formerly of Indian Orchard, MA passed away July 16, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by Ralph, her husband of 54 years, children Edward (Barbara) of Springfield, MA, Kevin of Springfield, MA, Michael (Dawn) of North Port, and Kathleen Condon of North Port, sister Irma French of North Port, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Farley Funeral Home, North Port Chapel, with a celebration of her life at 7:30 pm. Cremation will follow with private inurnment in Venice Memorial Gardens later. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to TideWell Hospice, Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238, and earmark your check for Port Charlotte.
