John (Jack) Travenetti, age 82, of Venice, Florida, formerly of Wyandotte, Michigan, died peacefully in his sleep on June 1, 2010. Survivors include his wife, Catherine of Venice; daughter, Mikki (Mark) King of Brighton, Michigan; sons, Bob Mininger of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jim (Ann) Mininger of Las Vegas, Nevada and David (Suzanne) Mininger of Palm City, Florida. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his first wife, Audrey, his brother, Jim and his mother and father, Olive & Emil Travenetti. A memorial service for Jack will be held at 10:00AM on July 9, 2010 at the Venice United Church of Christ, 620 Shamrock Blvd in Venice. Memorial donations may be made to the Church or to your favorite charity. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
