Julia G. Richardson, 62, of Venice, FL, formerly of Lebanon, IN passed away May 31, 2010. Mrs. Richardson graduated from Thorntown High School, received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University, and received her Master’s degree from Butler University. She was employed by the Boone County Clerks Office, and the Boone County and Montgomery County Welfare Departments before retiring to Venice in 1991. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Venice, a member of Psi Iota Xi, a social sorority in Lebanon, IN, and a long-time member of the American Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary. Preceded in death by her parents Isaac (Ike) Gregg and Elizabeth (Bea) Hardy Gregg, she is survived by her children Jeffrey (Teresa) Susong of Lebanon, IN, Jerri (Rick) Mittman of Fishers, IN, and Jamie (Doug) Boxler of Westfield, IN, grandchildren Tyler & Trevor Susong, Bailie & Reed Mittman, and Madelyn, Teagan, & Sawyer Boxley, and a sister, Mary Jo Huber of North Port, FL. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Thorntown United Methodist Church in Thorntown, IN. Farley Funeral Home, Venice, FL Chapel has been selected to care for arrangements.
