Eleanor A. Allender, 91, of Venice, FL, formerly of Hillsboro Beach, FL, died on May 13, 2010. Eleanor was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a member of the US Navy and was on active duty for 3 years. She spent 33 years in the Reserves and retired as Chief Petty Officer. Survivors include step-daughter Sandra Cann of Ocala, FL; step-sons Edward Allender of Port St. Lucie, FL, William Allender of Port Charlotte, FL, and Brooke Allender of Hatboro, PA; 15 step grandchildren and 19 step great grandchildren.
