Larry E. Colagross, 74, died at home, January 30, 2010. He was born on June 11, 1935 in Willoughby, OH, to Peter and Gladys Colagross. He moved to North Port, FL from Chardon, OH in 1996. For 55 years, he was an electrician working out of IBEW local #673, Mentor, OH. Larry was an avid golfer, car enthusiast, and gardener. Survivors include his wife of forty years, Bonnie Colagross, of North Port; four children, Patricia (Thomas) Hopkins of Geneva, OH, Donald (Lisa) Colagross of Cleveland, OH and Sarasota, FL, Larry Colagross Jr. of Madison, OH, Kenneth Crane, of Englewood, FL and his mother, Gladys George of North Port, FL. He also is survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Colagross. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held from 2:00-4:00PM on Friday, February 12, 2010 at Farley Funeral Home in North Port.
