Gerard L. Myers passed away on Friday, August 7, 2009 at his home in Venice. Gerard was born July 20, 1927 in Pascoag, RI. He was a graduate of Providence College in Rhode Island. He taught math and coached sports at Lemon Bay High School, Venice Junior High and Venice Middle School from 1961 to 1990. Survivors include his wife Carol of 37 years; children, Kacie Tipp of Venice, FL, JoAnne Spring of Georgia, Susan Ilardo of Ft. Myers, FL., Bill Stone of Texas, and Jeff Stone of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren, Amanda, Destinee, Alexis, and Ashton; sister, Dorothy Rondeau of Maryland.
