Harold E. “Jim” Sealey, age 86, of Venice, Florida, passed away on February 10, 2009. Dear family and friends. On behalf of Mom, Larry and Susan, we would like you to know that Dad passed away quietly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 10, 2009. He was blessed in life with the gift of your love, which made him the wealthiest of men. He was born in North Branch, Michigan and was a customer service representative in the mobile home manufacturing industry. He was a member of the VFW in Michigan and also served in the United States Navy during World War II. He moved to North Port, Florida in 1980 and recently moved to Venice one year ago where he was a member of the Venice Bible Church. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Miriam; a son, Larry (Linda) Sealey of Wisconsin; a daughter, Susan (Steve) Redman of Venice; a brother, Edwin of Michigan; a sister, Florence Stein of Michigan; three grandchildren, Aaron, Neil and his wife Stephanie and Brian and his wife Rebecca; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark; four brothers, Howard, Fred, Harry and Fran; and a sister, Leona. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Venice Bible Church in Venice. Burial will be held later in Michigan. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
