September 28th, 1929 - February 6th, 2009
Jack H. Riggs, a retired sportscaster and U.S. Navy veteran, formerly of Northville, Michigan, died in Englewood, Florida on February 6, 2009. Mr. Riggs was the beloved husband of Nancy, father of Debra (Jim) Bonamici and Jack (Lori) Riggs, and grandfather of Peter and Nicolas Bonamici and Emily and Ryan Riggs. In addition, Mr. Riggs is survived by his dear sister, Nancy (Lawrence) Beaubien and brother, Edward (Lisa) Raffetto, and cherished cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 508 Riviera Street, Venice, Florida, on March 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.
