Josephine Marie Crea Painton, age 88, of Venice, Florida, passed away on October 8, 2008. She was born on July 22, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Venice in 1981. She was a Seamstress. She was a member of Epiphany Cathedral in Venice. She is survived by her daughter, Antoinette “Toni” (John) Keegan of North Port, two sons, Anthony “Tony” Crea and his wife Amy Faltz of Lafayette, California, Jack Crea of Brooklyn, New York; a brother, James Rovello of Palm Bay, Florida and five grandchildren, Andrea St. Onge of Orlando, Florida, Dennis Keegan of Venice, Florida, Michele Crea and Joseph Crea both of Brooklyn, New York and Jared Crea of Lafayette, California. Burial will be held in Brooklyn, New York. Farley Funeral Home in North Port is handling the arrangements.
